DIY Miniature Soda Can Solar Heater

do it yourself soda can solar heaterThis is brilliant – and easy to do. Using a few soda cans, some spare wood, some leftover plexiglass and a couple of old CPU fans – you too can make a miniature solar heater that is designed to sit in a window sill. The goal is to use the sun’s heat to warm up the aluminum cans and push the air out of the box to produce warmer results inside the room using the CPU fans. Now it won’t produce a ton of renewable energy, but still a cool project you can do that you can get free heat from and show off to your friends.
